After twenty-two combined years of audiology with emphasis in vestibular practice, our patients have taught us a lot about what they need and expect from their healthcare providers. Our philosophy is both simple and progressive. We believe open-minded doctors with a willingness to combine cutting edge therapies and traditional processes produce the best outcomes. We do this while fostering highly collaborative relationships with our patients in our private, state-of-the-art facility.

Dr. Brooke Pearce

Dr. Brooke Pearce is the co-founder of The Dizzy and Vertigo Institute of Los Angeles and leader within the medical field advancing the management of the vestibular patient. She’s a vestibular health expert who focuses on taking an evidence-based approach to vestibular optimization. She has a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science, certifications from the American Balance Society, American Academy of Audiology and American Academy of Speech, Language, Hearing Pathology and a doctoral degree in audiology.

Dr. Pearce is a tireless researcher who has devoted her professional career to the pursuit of being on the cutting edge of neuro-vestibular assessments and treatment. She has advanced education in ocular motor assessments in managing concussion, pharmacology and ototoxicity, neuroscience, neuroimaging, and intraoperative neurologic monitoring.

For the last five years, she’s been working with many of the top scientists and physicians on the planet to utilize one of the most comprehensive vestibular diagnostic and treatment programs in the world of science to help patients overcome vestibular dysfunction and increase stability, frequently with life-transforming results.

Dr. Chelsea Nava is the co-founder of The Dizzy and Vertigo Institute of Los Angeles and a natural health expert who focuses on taking an evidence-based approach to human health optimization involving the vestibular system. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders, certifications from the American Balance Society, American Academy of Audiology and American Academy of Speech, Language, Hearing Pathology and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, International and a doctoral degree in audiology. 

Dr. Nava has deep expertise in hormonic stress, gut health and light therapies affecting the vestibular system. Her pursuit of being on the cutting edge of health and vestibular enhancement has interfaced with her deep love of advanced technology. She has led the innovation of one of the most comprehensive vestibular-visual desensitization programs in the world.

For the last five years, she’s been working with some of the most talented software engineers and developers to create one of the most comprehensive retraining programs for patients overcoming vestibular dysfunction by the use of virtual reality, desktop applications and Smart TVs with transformational results.

Dr. Tin Truong is a first-generation immigrant from Vietnam immigrating to the Washington D.C. metro area. Dr. Truong has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance for patients of all ages. Dr. Truong is a firm believer in delivering forward-thinking, evidenced-based, and compassionate medical care that is tailored to the unique needs of each patient. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science Disorders, certifications from the American Academy of Audiology and American Academy of Speech, Language, Hearing Pathology, and a doctoral degree in audiology. 

Dr. Truong values the principle of an on-going pursuit of knowledge, and believes mentorship is an important engagement tool for the next generation. He prioritizes the principles and motivations of the next generation of doctoral students by holding supervisory positions for Doctoral candidates throughout the country.  His hands-on mentoring programs are designed to facilitate a mentoring culture with patient outcomes in mind.    

Throughout his professional career, he has provided necessary opportunities for students to gain exposure to vestibular best practices and develop their own craft within the field. His sought-after leadership style, assists with the developmental initiatives of doctoral students motivating, inspiring, and supporting their personal mastery of patient care. He continues to provide transformational results for the profession and long-term patient outcomes.
