After twenty-two combined years of audiology with emphasis in vestibular practice, our patients have taught us a lot about what they need and expect from their healthcare providers. Our philosophy is both simple and progressive. We believe open-minded doctors with a willingness to combine cutting edge therapies and traditional processes produce the best outcomes. We do this while fostering highly collaborative relationships with our patients in our private, state-of-the-art facility.

Dr. Brooke Pearce

Dr. Pearce serves as the co-founder of The Dizzy and Vertigo Institute of Los Angeles and is a prominent figure in the medical field, spearheading advancements in the management of vestibular patients. As an expert in vestibular health, she prioritizes an evidence-based approach to optimize vestibular function. Dr. Pearce holds a Doctoral degree in Audiology, in addition to Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science.  She is board certified by the American Academy of Audiology, in addition to a member of the American Balance Society, Vestibular Disorder Association and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Devoting her professional career to cutting-edge neuro-vestibular assessments and treatment, her expertise extends to ocular motor assessments for concussion management, pharmacology, ototoxicity, neuroscience and neuroimaging.

Dr. Pearce collaborates with leading scientists and physicians worldwide, contributing to the development of one of the most comprehensive vestibular diagnostic and treatment programs in the scientific community. This program has played a crucial role in assisting patients in overcoming vestibular dysfunction, enhancing stability, and often yielding transformative results in their lives.

 

Dr. Nava, the co-founder of The Dizzy and Vertigo Institute of Los Angeles, is a natural health expert dedicated to an evidence-based approach in optimizing human health, particularly focusing on the vestibular system. Armed with a Doctoral degree in Audiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders, she is a member of the American Balance Society, Vestibular Disorder Association, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, International.

Dr. Nava possesses extensive knowledge in hormonal stress, gut health, and light therapies that impact the vestibular system. Her commitment to staying at the forefront of health and vestibular enhancement is complemented by her affinity for advanced technology. Notably, she has spearheaded the development of one of the world’s most comprehensive vestibular-visual desensitization programs.

Over the past five years, Dr. Nava has collaborated with skilled software engineers and developers to craft an innovative retraining program. This program, utilizing virtual reality, desktop applications, and Smart TVs, has proven transformative for patients overcoming vestibular dysfunction, showcasing remarkable results in their health journey.

Dr. Brooke Pearce

Dr. Truong brings extensive expertise to the diagnosis and management of dizziness, dedicated to providing forward-thinking, evidence-based, and compassionate medical care. His academic background includes a Doctoral degree in Audiology, Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science Disorders, along with membership to the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dr. Truong is a staunch advocate for the continual pursuit of knowledge and considers mentorship a vital tool for engaging the next generation. He actively contributes to the development of Doctoral students nationwide by holding supervisory roles, fostering a mentoring culture with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes.

Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Truong has created invaluable opportunities for students to immerse themselves in vestibular best practices and refine their skills within the field. His leadership style, highly sought after, plays a pivotal role in motivating, inspiring, and supporting the personal mastery of patient care for Doctoral candidates. Dr. Truong’s commitment to providing transformational results not only advances the audiology profession but also contributes to long-term positive outcomes for patients.

Dr. Law brings a diverse background and extensive expertise to the clinic, having worked with a myriad of complex dizziness conditions. From addressing vestibular migraine, persistent postural perceptual dizziness, and post-COVID syndrome, to extending his focus beyond vestibular disorders to include managing concussion, general balance and gait impairments, post-CVA/stroke recovery, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), his experience spans a broad spectrum. Dr. Law holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has furthered his qualifications with Vestibular Rehabilitation Competency from Duke University School of Medicine.

Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those grappling with dizziness, Dr. Law is dedicated to empowering his patients. His treatment philosophy is centered on providing individuals with the tools necessary to not only manage symptoms effectively but also to enhance their overall quality of life. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Law contributes to the education of future physical therapists as a clinical instructor, extending his expertise to various physical therapy programs across the country, including locally at the University of Southern California (USC).
